Liza Foley
My work is rooted in a personal healing process. After experiencing multiple concussions and lingering symptoms, I noticed that when I spent time by the ocean, I felt a sense of calm and clarity that I could not access elsewhere. Drawn to that restorative feeling, I moved to the coast and began a deeper process of reconnecting with myself and finding inner peace. My paintings are reflections of these experiences. I create atmospheric coastal paintings that evoke a sense of quiet and ease, gently downshifting the nervous system. Each painting is an attempt to hold onto that feeling of peace, offering the viewer a space that feels restorative and grounding. Liza Foley, 2026
